Every now and then you’re going to need to replace your bases, pitchers plate and home plate. With a plethora of choices it can be hard to determine which style is best to buy. Finding the right combination of quality and price is made harder by the fact that many manufacturers are selling the same style base or plate under different names for a wide range of prices. This article will make a suggestion for each piece of equipment and explain why it may be the right choice for you. This is only a suggestion, your choice of style may differ but do yourself a favor and take a closer look at the models featured below.

Ok so the pitchers can now throw the ball but we gotta get some bases out there to load up with runners. This can be a difficult choice. Many people are less willing to switch base styles especially if they already have anchors in place. That being said I would still recommend giving Soft Touch Bases a try.

Instead of using standard 1″ square tube anchors the Soft Touch bases utilize a 7 inch square in ground sleeve that allows the base to progressively release upon impact. These bases work great, have a 20 year track record and you can buy a complete selection of replacement parts down the road instead of buying a full new set of bases. Best of all is that the progressive release design is safe and great at all levels of play.
