But most definitely aren't and even the most loyal fan ought to agree that there's a lot of downtime that could be eliminated. On June 6th, Little League celebrated 75 years of youth baseball. The first Little League game was played in Williamsport, PA in 1939. Today, Little League is the world's largest youth sports organization. To celebrate, Little League has a number of resources online for organizations to use, including a section of fun facts!
